ZypAdhera® (olanzapine pamoate): Switching from High Oral Olanzapine Dose

First olanzapine pamoate dose is identified by the target oral olanzapine dose. The highest recommended dose is 300 mg/2 weeks corresponding to 20 mg oral olanzapine per day. Higher olanzapine pamoate doses have not been tested.

Further Label Information

Patients should be treated initially with oral olanzapine before administering olanzapine pamoate, to establish tolerability and response.1

In order to identify the first olanzapine pamoate dose for all patients, the scheme in Table 1 should be considered.1
