How to store Alimta® (pemetrexed) unreconstituted vials?
Unopened vials of pemetrexed should be stored at temperatures of 20°C to 25°C.

at temperatures up to 30°C (86°F), and
from extreme conditions such as high humidity and unsafe
vials have a 36-month shelf-life when stored as directed in the
unreconstituted vials of pemetrexed were accidentally stored in the
refrigerator between 2°C to 8°C (36°F to 46°F), they
must be returned to storage conditions as directed in the label for
further storage until the vials are used or expire. Accidental
refrigeration of unreconstituted vials does not impact the safety or
quality of the product; however, refrigerated pemetrexed vials must
be allowed to return to room temperature before being used to ensure
proper dissolution of the drug product upon reconstitution.1
