How should Humulin® (insulin human) be stored?
Store unused/before use Humulin in a refrigerator (2°C - 8°C). Do not freeze. After first use, store at room temperature below 30°C. Do not expose to excessive heat or direct sunlight. After first use, the shelf life is 28 days.

What are the recommended storage conditions?
Store the unused Humulin KwikPen, vials or cartridges1-3
- in a refrigerator (2°C – 8°C).
- Do not freeze.
- Do not expose to excessive heat or direct sunlight.
After the first use of Humulin KwikPen, vial, or after the cartridge has been inserted into the pen, store the insulin below 30°C.1-3
Do not refrigerate the in-use pen, and do not store it with the needle attached.1,2
After first use, the shelf life is 28 days.2
